Prepare for playgroup

Wondering what to bring with you to nature playgroup? Don’t stress; you and your seedlings won’t need much to have a great time!

Typical Format

Seedlings is a casual and informal playgroup, with a loose structure to guide our playtime together!

We typically meet at 10:00am at our chosen location – but don’t stress about arriving on time! – and begin with our Acknowledgement and Welcome Song.

After our welcome, we will either do freeplay to explore our environment, or we may prepare a little activity to get Seedlings going! We’ll bring along anything required for activities, so all your Seedlings need is their imagination. Everyone is welcome to bring new ideas for our activities though, so please feel welcome to share!

After our play and before we leave each other for the day, we’ll sit together for a snack and a story or song. Please feel welcome to bring a rug, snacks and a book to share with the group if you’d like to.
